Vice Chairman, Oachira Tsunami Charitable trust, working for rehabilitation of victims of Tsunami.

Organizer of Free Ayurveda Medical camps and Public health initiatives using traditional medicine against Emerging infectious diseases in South India.

Worked as Consultant in UNDP` s Endogenous tourism project for Aranmula village, for the conservation and propagation of Medicinal plants.

Pro active regarding the health impacts of Climate change in the tropics.

Work under progress :

Ayurveda and Rituals in Mental Health in Kerala , Masters thesis, field study planned from 18th July 2009 .

Chikungunya ; Tracing trajectories and searching for solutions – on the Public health initiative from traditional medicine practitioners in the management of Chikungunya(an emerging infectious viral disease) in South India in 2006 and 2007.
